Project Help

There are people in our community who need a helping hand in paying their winter electric bills.  Project Help collects funds for HES customers who legitimately qualify for financial assistance through a designated local administrating agency, Pennyrile Allied Community Service (PACS).  Since the beginning of Project Help several years ago, HES customers have donated thousands of dollars to help their neighbors make it through the winter.  But, only through your continued support can we extend Project Help to those in need.

This is how you can help.  Each year in the fall/winter, HES conducts a yellow envelope campaign.  Look for this yellow envelope in your bill statement.  Simply make your contribution (any amount), insert it into the self-addressed yellow envelope along with your bill payment, and drop it in the mailbox or HES night depository box.  Please make checks payable to HES.  If you include your donation in your electric bill payment, please note this on the back of the envelope so that we can account for your contribution to Project Help.

Additionally, you may opt to add $1 to each month's bill which will continue throughout the year until you notify HES to stop the $1 donation.  All contributions will be received and recorded in our office and forwarded to PACS along with HES matching funds to aid HES financially distressed customers.  Remember any contribution you can make will help.  Thank you in advance for your support.
