EnergyNet Technical Support
BEFORE CALLING, please review the support information provided below. Some technical issues are easily resolved on your own. If the solutions below do not correct your technical issue, please call the EnergyNet 24/7 technical support line at 887-0763.
DO NOT press the reset button on any EnergyNet receiver. Doing so disables the device and will require you to bring it back to the HES office for reprogramming. To reboot the device, simply unplug it from power and plug it back in.
If your service seems slow:
-
If your EnergyNet receiver has antennas, make certain they are plugged in tightly and pointed straight up.
-
Make certain the EnergyNet receiver is positioned as far away from possible from other wireless devices, such as wireless routers, cordless phones, gaming systems, and Bluetooth devices.
-
Reboot the EnergyNet receiver by unplugging it and plugging it back in. The receiver will reset within two minutes.
-
If you have a router, unplug the router and plug it back in. Most routers should reboot within two minutes.
-
Restart your computer.
-
If following these steps do not resolve your slow speed issue, call the EnergyNet technical support line at 887-0763.
If you use a router:
In some cases, certain routers have caused the EnergyNet high-speed service to run slowly. To see if this is your problem, follow the ethernet cable from the back of the EnergyNet receiver to your router. Unplug the ethernet cable from the router and plug it directly into the ethernet port on your computer. Unplug the EnergyNet receiver from power to reboot it. Restart your computer and open your internet browser to see if your speed improves. If it does, contact your router manufacturer to determine the issue with the router. If it does not, reconnect your router to the EnergyNet receiver and reboot both devices by unplugging them from power and plugging them back in. Contact EnergyNet technical support at 887-0763 for further assistance.
