HES/energynet is proud to offer a summer internship opportunity to learn about the electric and telecommunications industry in a municipal utility environment. The successful candidate will:
Be a temporary employee ready to engage in the departmental areas of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Safety fields of study;
Be provided a learning environment while earning cash compensation;
Be available to learn and work in the 2019 Summer Break;
Be flexible to learn and work under varied working conditions, in a drug-free work environment;
Work flexible hourly schedule;
Report to the Human Resource Coordinator for administrative purposes;
Be a fulltime student of a college or technical school;
Be a resident of Hopkinsville-Christian County, Kentucky;
Possess a high degree of willingness to handle responsibility and solve problems;
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs;
Possess a good attitude;
Be in good physical and mental health;
Be able to work well with others within the office and with the public;
Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
