As of Monday morning, we have completed repairs to restore power to our primary circuits. Power to all neighborhoods should be restored and the vast majority of HES customers should now have power. We still have some repairs to make, such as reattaching street and security lights.

If your power has still not been restored, please call us ASAP at 887-4200 so that we can determine why. After most storms with high winds, it is not uncommon for the (electric) service entrance to some homes to be damaged. In these events, the two components that HES is responsible for repairing are the meter and the wires between the pole and the service mast. All other components are owned by the homeowner and require the homeowner to make repairs and receive a certificate from a KY Certified Electric inspector before the service line can be reattached and power restored to the house.
