Due to flooding in portions of Hopkinsville, some homes and businesses in the HES electric service area require power to be disconnected for safety reasons. To safely disconnect these homes and businesses, from time to time, it will be necessary for HES to deenergize various circuits throughout Hopkinsville. These power disruptions will be short in duration, but are necessary for the safety of our workers. We apologize for any inconvenience.

For the safety of our employees and our customers, our office will be closing at 2:00 PM today. Please attend to any urgent matters before 2:00 PM. Please avoid travel in flood-prone areas. While our offices will be closed, our Operations Department will be working continuously to monitor and respond to any urgent issues.
